They where a little cheap at $60usd(came to $90cad something after taxes, & conversion) , but the reviews seemed good. Warehouse is in the GTA, so (free &) fast shipping. These will be a regular street pad, they also sell a “performance” pad that I want to try.

Are you running metallic or organic pads? It’s possible that the pad surface could be dirty or glazed. If dirty, try cleaning them (and the rotors) with isopropyl alcohol. If glazed, might be time for some new pads. They should be somewhat affordable, probably € 15 or so . The pads are very porous and don’t take well to any oils, fingerprints, etc so it’s advised to wear nitrile gloves when handling them.

Not to be "that guy", but they look to be about the same size as pads for every car I've ever owned, barring the Bronco. ¯\_()_/¯

They are in better shape then the pads on it currently. I knew the rear pads where small, but not that small.

I’m not familiar enough with the chems in brake cleaner to say. Manufacturer recommendation and every shop I’ve seen uses alcohol to clean pads and I’d imagine there’s a reason for it. But I know that the pads are sensitive enough to merit replacement if you touch one with some oily hands, spill some chain lube, or drip any brake fluid onto them.
It’s possible to handle them in such a way without touching the pad surface, but I always wear gloves anyhow.
